If you didn’t already know, David’s hobby is reading and writing about technology associated with his other hobbies. During the day he helps clients protect their inventions and trademarks, guides them through IP clearance and strategy decisions, and undertakes product name development projects and training; while at night he reads patents and patent applications directed to his hobbies, and shares them with you. He created the Golf-Patents blog in 2007 and has recently launched two new blogs.

The new EatMyRubber blog (yes, a play on the classic line from Chevy Chase in the movie Christmas Vacation) is directed to the innovation of speed, and intellectual property in motor sports. The new SportingIP blog is directed to inspiring athletes through innovation, and covers intellectual property issues in all sports.
